"I remember the day that you came to my church like it was yesterday. It was Wednesday, May 5, 2010. I was a junior in high school and all I cared about was sports and who my friends were. I was raised in a Christian home. Not once did I doubt that there was a God, but I'd be lying through my teeth if I said that I was walking with the Lord and had a relationship with Him, because I didn't. I was a "cookie-cutter" Christian so to speak. So my dad texted me that day, asking me if I would come to church that night. It took all that was in me to say yes. You would be sharing that night and had my attention the whole time. Towards the end, you asked if there was anyone who wanted to come forward and give their life to Christ. My heart was pounding and I couldn't breathe. But why? I knew who God is. I was a Christian. I didn't need to raise my hand or go forward. I felt like I was about to start crying when you started telling a story about one of your daughters and I started to panic because I didn't think you would give the invitation again. 'Ask again and I promise I'll raise my hand. Please ask again,' I said to myself. I was shaking. I was crying. My heart was pounding as the Lord spoke to my heart. So, you asked one more time....'If there is anyone else who,' and my hand shot up. I couldn't hold it down any longer. I walked forward and you prayed with me and a couple other people. By the grace of God, I've been a different person ever since. I actually just finished up my first year of Bible college! Thank you Ebo for you and your ministry.”
